- Presence since mid/late
70’s
- 1st rep Chopper Charlie
(Taffy Rositer) 1980
- Hank and friends attend
Aug ’80 run in Avon
– Hank becomes Welsh
Rep
- Welsh club based predominantly
in Cardiff but gradually spreads
to other areas in Wales, firstly
West Glam then followed by
Mid Wales (later re-named
Powys)

- 15 members – club
growing

| 1983 |
- Hank becomes NCC Run Captain
but also retains Welsh Rep

| 1984 |
- Chevrons (bottom rocker)
introduced
- 1st Welsh club-house in
Penarth
- Hank becomes NCC Vice President
and steps down as Welsh Rep.

- Ray Douse becomes Welsh
Rep

| 1987 |
- 2nd Welsh run at same location
as 1982.

| 1990 |
- As membership increases
Wales is now divided into
Counties
- 29 members

| 1991 |
- Welsh back-patch(chopper
club Wales on back patch)
- Welsh committee formed;
first welsh a.g.m in the wilds
of Gwent.
- First welsh rep of the independent
years is Ray Douse1992
- Welsh run at Port Talbot,
first ever working run for
a lot of the membership, rain,
rain and more rain.
- Chris Gries becomes Welsh
rep

- North Wales run, sun! working
very well together, getting
used to this.
- Put on our first public
event, at Llandow.
- Full independence
- Welsh President –

- Chris steps down as President,
Gavin takes over
- 2nd public show at Llandow.

- move the public show to
Pembrey, the stereophonics
play

| 1999 |
- last public show, Pembrey
was getting to costly, so
we go to move to anther site,
which falls threw (bugger).

- West Wales run, the wild
west
- Membership over 3 times
as many in 1981
- 4 clubhouses evenly spread
over Wales – Gwent,
Powys, Cardiff and N. Wales.

- Gavin steps down and John
takes over as President

| 2006 |
- The Eurorun in Mid Wales
won prize for Best Run
- 4 Clubhouses. Powys, North
Wales, West Wales and West
Coast
